Zillow only uses your zip code in an algorithm in an attempt to price your home to other recent homes in the area and let’s be serious. They are a national database that is trying to put value on your home in your neighborhood. Zillow is an advertising platform to introduce realtors to consumers. Your estimate doesn’t know the neighbors, the parking, the odors from the previous owners, or the roof that might need replacing. Your estimate can never be reliable, whereas a local professional can give you accurate data on the value of your home. But more importantly, an agent's reputation is at stake compared to an online valuation.
 
In today's digital age, it's common for homeowners and prospective buyers to turn to online platforms for real estate information. Among the many options available, Zillow has emerged as one of the most popular sources for estimating home prices. While Zillow can provide valuable insights into the real estate market, it's crucial to understand the limitations and potential inaccuracies associated with relying solely on its estimates. In this blog post, we'll explore why you shouldn't trust Zillow to accurately price your home.
