Cup of Joe

UPDATE: I received a huge response from this post and most of you wanted to know where you can buy the Laird’s creamer, the Collagen that I currently use and the bone broth, well here you are just click on the pictures:

I wake only for coffee:

I love my morning coffee. I don’t think I’m unique to this phenomenon but I often go to bed excited knowing that I’m only 8 to 9 hours away from a hot creamy cup of coffee. Whats not okay is the creamer I put in my coffee. Ive tried to stop, really I have. I justify it as its the only really bad thing I do on a consistent basis, up until now! I recently stumbled across Laird Superfood Creamer (dairy free, gluten free and GMO free). You may recognize the name Laird Hamilton world-renowned big wave surfer who also happens to be a coffee connoisseur. He created this creamer blend of healthy fats. What makes it Super? It combines a unique blend of coconut milk powder and Aquamin (which is a fancy word for mineral rich calcified sea algae) with nutrient packed coconut and red palm oil.

I now add 1 large spoonful to my hot coffee, it can also be added to tea and your morning smoothie. But lets not stop there…I’m also adding Collagen Hydrolysate (1 spoon) and Vanilla Bone Broth Protein (1 spoon). I can imagine that this sounds really gross (I’m with you) but having tried it and consistency used it for a few weeks now…I like it, I like it a lot!

What are the benefits, well one your no longer using the artificial creamers. Collagen helps to regulate the body’s metabolism by providing protein of low molecular weight that is quickly absorbed in the digestive tract. Our body’s ability to repair supporting connective tissues (bone, tendons, skin, hair, nails) diminishes in one’s mid-twenties. The amino acids in the collagen is used by the body to build connective tissue structures to support the function of the cells. One step further, Hydrolysate collagen is the same collagen found naturally in bones, skin and cartilage which as a result supports the body natural healing. This product fully dissolves and is barely noticed in the coffee (I was sneaking it in my husbands all black coffee for months).

The bone broth I buy in vanilla flavor to help resemble my coffee creamer. There are no artificial ingredients and it supports healthy joints, skin, muscle and detox. Bone broth is rich in minerals that support immune system and contains healing compounds like collagen, glutamine, glycerine and proline and these also can help detox the cells in your body and improve brain function.

So in the end, I’m off the artificial, stay on your counter all day vanilla creamer and Ive replaced it with one spoonful of Laird Superfood Creamer, Collagen Protein and Vanilla Bone Broth protein. I swear it tastes great and it does the body and brain some good.
