BODYROK is a Pilates-inspired fitness brand known for its high-intensity, low-impact workouts.
Its classes combine resistance-based movement, strength training, and Pilates principles in a fast-paced studio environment.
The brand has continued expanding throughout Southern California, making it one to watch for local fitness enthusiasts.
Local opening update: A Rolling Hills-area location was included in our original social roundup. However, BODYROK's current official studio directory does not list a Rolling Hills location, so an opening date remains unconfirmed. The brand does list an existing Redondo Beach studio.
Torrance continues to be one of the South Bay's major shopping and dining destinations.

One of the most significant developments happening anywhere in the South Bay is the transformation of San Pedro's waterfront.
West Harbor is reimagining the former Ports O' Call Village into a destination for waterfront dining, shopping, entertainment, and community gatherings.
The approximately 42-acre development represents a major investment in the future of San Pedro and the Los Angeles waterfront.
With restaurants, outdoor gathering spaces, entertainment venues, and harbor views, West Harbor is designed to become a destination for both local residents and visitors from across Southern California.
And several highly anticipated dining concepts are part of the project.
The iconic Hollywood Hills restaurant Yamashiro is expanding to San Pedro.
Known for its Japanese-inspired architecture, dining experience, and sweeping Los Angeles views, Yamashiro is bringing a new location to the waterfront.
The San Pedro outpost will introduce the restaurant's distinctive atmosphere to an entirely different coastal setting.
For anyone who loves dining with a view, this is one to keep on the radar.
San Diego-based Mike Hess Brewing is bringing an ambitious new concept to West Harbor.
The planned destination includes a brewery, distillery, restaurant, and expansive waterfront beer garden.
With outdoor gathering areas, harbor views, and space for live entertainment, the new location is designed to be more than a traditional brewery.
It's the kind of place you can envision spending an entire afternoon with friends and family.
Glass Box is another anticipated addition to the waterfront dining lineup.
The restaurant concept brings together Japanese, Korean, and Chinese culinary influences in a contemporary dining environment.
Its menu is expected to include sushi, sashimi, and other Asian-inspired dishes.
For taco enthusiasts, West Harbor has another exciting addition on the way.
Tacos El Franc, the Tijuana-based taqueria recognized by the Michelin Guide, is among the dining concepts announced for the development.
Known for its traditional Mexican street tacos, the restaurant will bring another distinctive dining option to the San Pedro waterfront.
Important distinction: Tacos El Franc is part of the West Harbor project in San Pedro, not the El Segundo restaurant lineup.
West Harbor has announced these dining concepts as part of its phased development. Individual restaurant opening dates may vary, so check directly with the businesses before planning a visit.
Beyond the excitement of new restaurants and places to shop, these additions reflect something we love about living in the South Bay: our communities continue to evolve while maintaining the neighborhood character that makes them special.
Manhattan Beach is welcoming new coffee and retail destinations that complement its walkable downtown.
Hermosa Beach continues to expand its fitness and wellness offerings.
El Segundo is attracting popular Los Angeles dining concepts.
Torrance remains an important shopping and dining hub for the surrounding communities.
And San Pedro is undergoing a significant waterfront transformation that will introduce new opportunities for dining, entertainment, and recreation.
For residents, that means more places to explore, more neighborhood amenities, and more reasons to enjoy the communities we call home.
For prospective homebuyers, it's another reminder that choosing where to live is about much more than the home itself.
It's about the neighborhood, the lifestyle, the local businesses, and the everyday experiences that make a community feel like home.
There's a reason we love sharing what's happening throughout the South Bay.
